- The annual Australian Education Exhibition will be held on 15 and 16 October 2011 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.
- Currently there are 21,800 Malaysian students studying in Australia.
- Malaysia is the 4th largest foreign student market for Australia after China (143,000 students), India (61,000 students) and Korea (26,000 students)
- On top of that, there are more than 12,000 students studying in the 3 Australian Branch Campuses in Malaysia (Monash, Curtin and Swinburne)
- However recent trend shows more Malaysians are choosing Australia for their Postgraduate studies as there are more choices to do undergraduate studies in Malaysia
