The Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA) is the world's most prestigious competition for college and university students who own and operate a business. Nominees compete against peers from all over the world in the hopes of earning a spot in the Global Finals.
At the local and international entrepreneur’s and partners of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) will stage tournaments that will serve as qualifying events for the GSEA Global Finals.
The prizes are usually a mix of cash and company services, and they differ by location. Students compete for a total prize package of US$50,000 in cash in the Global Finals, with first-place receiving US$25,000.
Why should I be joining you may ask? Well, by joining this competition you will be able to truly unleash your knowledge on the entrepreneurial world, and even get more ideas and create connections from all over the globe. Participation will not only give you experience but also get you to polish your entrepreneurship skill that may be very useful for the future.

Entrepreneurs, they never say no, they never take the lazy route, and that burning fire in them is never extinguished.

Having a business whilst still in school, can be very challenging. This is where comes in to support them for free by providing a structure. Among them, relevant mentors, business modelling, and accountability groups.

Live Competition Eligibility Criteria:
To proceed, you must agree that you meet the below criteria and can verify all eligibility criteria if requested.
1. You must be enrolled in a university/college as an undergraduate or graduate* student at the time of application. Full-time enrolment is not required; part-time enrolment is acceptable.
2. You must be the owner, founder, or controlling shareholder of your company and principally responsible for its operation. Each company can be represented by only one owner/co-founder.
Operation of a for-profit business or social enterprise, for at least six months prior to the application with generated revenue of US$500 or US$1,000 in investment/backing.
3.You should not have been one of the top finalists, competing in the final round competition, from any previous year's GSEA Global Finals Competition.
The age cap for participation is 30 years of age.
Graduate students are eligible to apply only if they have continually enrolled in a university following their undergraduate degree and not left school to work on their business or to seek other employment. Exceptions can be made for students who have taken up to one academic year break before beginning their postgraduate education.
