Malaysia top 10 outstanding young artists award 2014

The Malaysia Top 10 Outstanding Young Artist Award 2014 aims to inspire and reward enthusiasts of new media and multimedia design. Furthermore, this is also an exciting platform to motivate and inspire talents to further develop their skills professionally.

This award began in 1998 with the release of Disney’s ‘A Bug’s Life’, followed by Disney•Pixar’Toy Story 2’ (1999), and so forth. Like previous years, this project is supported by the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC) – headquarters of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC).

This year, the 17th annual award will be held in conjunction with the release of ‘The Plane 2: Fire and Rescue’ , a movie that will be released in September 2014.

How to join:

• Open to all secondary school students nationwide, participants have to design their most imaginative airplane logo as creatively as possible with the template outline given in the entry form

• Only shortlisted participants in round 1 are required to attend round 2 on-the-spot competition.
• On Round 2, participants are required to personally attend the competition at specified locations and create artworks based on the title: "Rescue Mission".  They also need to bring their original IC and artwork materials.

Winners will win scholarships at One Academy, mobile electronics, trophies, and certificates.
