Platform for students to find part time jobs

Good news for Malaysian university students interested in finding a part time job to earn extra pocket money.

In line with the objectives of Malaysia’s higher education blueprint 2015-2025, the ministry has announced the launch of Projek Berdikari (Independent Project) aimed at university students looking for part time jobs while studying in universities.

The Malaysian Youth Community! (MYC!) has provided a platform for companies and employment agencies to offer part time jobs for students. Through the platform, students can search for part time jobs and find internship programs suitable to their field of study.

The ministry recognizes the students’ needs to get side income as cost of living are on the rise and has permitted this project to address this issue. Additionally, gaining work experience helps students improve their employability chances and provides holistic graduates.
