Depending on the reason, all Malaysian students who have or not taken Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) may choose to apply for a re-enrollment for Form 5 at any government or government assisted schools the following year.
Here is a checklist to ensure that you may repeat your SPM without many glitches.
1. Check your eligibility
- Students must not have been witheld during any previous school years
- Students must have registered as a candidate for SPM 2018 at any goverment or government assisted schools
- Students must have taken six (6) core subjects: Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Inggeris, Matematik, Sains, Sejarah dan Pendidikan Islam/Moral
- Students who missed taking SPM 2018 due to reasons of health, accident, emotional problems or delayed schooling will be accepted for re-enrollemt under the consideration of the school.
2. Check the school's availability
- Schools are not allowed to create additional classroom without permission from the Department of Daily School Management
- Schools with enrolment vacancy exceeding the number of re-enrollment applications are allowed to continue
3. Check your documents
- A copy of your birth certificate and identity card (kad pengenalan)
- A copy of your Kenyataan Kemasukan Peperiksaan (KKP)
- A copy of Doctor's Testimony (if missed SPM due to health reasons or accident)
- Support letter from your Principal
4. Make sure all related documents are filled
- Re-enrollment application form (Permohonan Belajar Semula di Tingkatan Lima (5) / Borang TV) by student
- Unfied List (Senarai Bersatu / Borang SV) by school
- Borang Analisa Penempatan Murid Belajar Semula di Tingkatan Lima (5) / Lampiran SA by school
