Career industries and gender discrimination

According to a current research, aerospacetechnology industry and financialsector were identified as the sectors that accept women the least in these fields.

Both sectors are now in the effort to ensure gender balance. However, the process is still moving slowly and there are not many who are working at the highest levels of the sector.

A survey related to which industries are most balanced in terms of gender was conducted to 3,500 women, comparing various aspects including salary, maternity leave and employment stigma.

The results showed that aerospaceis the most female unfriendly industry while public relation and cosmetic are the most female friendly industries. Financial and technology sectors are both perceived as equal with 57.1% and 55.8% respectively.
