<p>Mechatronics combines mechanical, electronic and software engineering in the design, development and control of diverse systems used in a range of industries including manufacturing, medicine and the service industries. Examples of mechatronics systems include aircraft, dishwashers, motor vehicles, automated manufacturing plants, robots of all types, and many others. <p>SPM - 3 Credits in the relevant subjects</p><p>O Level - 3 Grade C in the relevant subjects</p><p>UEC - 3 Grade B in the relevant subjects</p><p>Certificate - Relevant Certificate accreditated by MQA <br />OR<br />Relevant Skilled/Technical/Vocational Certificate accreditated by MQA or recognised by the Malaysian Government</p><p><strong>Compulsory subjects:</strong></p><p>i) SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C in Mathematics/ UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject<br />ii) SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in Physics/ Chemistry or one relevant technical/ vocational subject<br />iii) SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E (Pass)/ UEC Grade C in English Language</p><p><strong>Note:</strong></p><p>a) SPM holders must have at least a pass in Bahasa Melayu and SPM holders from Year 2013 onwards must have at least a pass in Sejarah.<br />b) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of Diploma.<br />c) Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.<br />d) Subject to the Ministry of Education latest requirements.</p>

<p class="common-text">Applicants should have passed intermediate or PUC from Mathematics, Physics &amp; Chemistry from any recognized board of Malaysia to get enrolled under the bachelor level of courses in engineering such as, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.). The eligibility for enrolling under master level programs of engineering is BE/ B.Tech passed from any recognized colleges or universities in Malaysia.</p>
