Physiotherapy is a form of medical care that aims to identify and ensure patients maximize their quality of life and movement potential by providing services encompassing the maintenance, development or restoration of mobility and functional capacity throughout their lives.

The Diploma in Physiotherapy aims to produce proficient graduates who are able to cope with the demands of the profession. Adopting an integrated approach involving theoretical, practical and clinical components, our graduates will be prepared with all the core competencies, knowledge and soft skills that will enable them to practice and communicate effectively in any clinical setting.The profession focuses on human movement as central to health and wellbeing of individuals. The primary focus is to resolve pain, stabilize injury and prevent it from increasing. The Physiotherapy Programme encompasses comprehensive learning with emphasis on “hands on” practice and clinical placements in accredited hospitals such as The Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care Group of Hospitals.

The students will undergo specially designed clinical placements as per requirement by the World Confederation of Physiotherapy. The students learn to treat patients holistically while minimizing risks, ensure patients safety at all times, and work within a legal and ethical framework.
